Training & Support

Part of GfG’s distinct character is its provision of an aftercare service, designed to develop and support the graduate as they embark on their new career.

Training
Our Graduate Training (GT) Programme has been developed as a result of trainer and graduate feedback over the past 6 years.  It is designed to address the training needs and particular issues of graduate employment in SMEs. Theory alone is not enough for developing soft skills!  This new format is more experiential with role play and practical exercises being the focus. The GT Programme is designed to ensure that your transition from graduate to employee is as smooth as possible and that you continue to develop the interpersonal, time management, team and leadership skills that are so important in business.

To find out more about the GT Programme, or to discuss the content,  please contact the Project Manager you dealt with.

Support
Starting a new job is incredibly exciting however for most of us, it can also be a little daunting.  Before you can even begin to concentrate on your job, you are bombarded with information about the company - its product, practices and infrastructure.  It’s only human to feel slightly isolated.  In order to support you throughout this time, GfG will pair you with a mentor, who will act as a support service and discuss any issues relating to your work.  This is a confidential and free service and you can discuss anything from problem solving and team working, to dealing with difficult situations and individuals.

GfG GT PROGRAMME BENEFITS:

  • Enhanced skills in a number of key personal development areas
  • Realisation of potential
  • Safe learning environment
  • Potential to contribute to ongoing expansion and development of your organisation
  • Facility to network with people from other organisations and learn from each other.
